Diocesan Pilgrimage of the Cross and Icon

by Mpumie

*If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me” (LK9 :23)

The Cross and the Icon continues their pilgrimage through the parishes around the country. For the past 7 months, it has been to all the parishes in the Hhohho region and currently in the Manzini region. Yesterday they *”the Symbols”* have visited Elwandle Outstation, after visiting St. Louis & St. Stevens Outstations last week, where they stayed for the whole week at St. Stevens, being venerated by the young people. St. Stevens & Lwandle youth journeyed with the Symbols praying the Stations of the Cross.

The Symbols will remain at OLOA till the 4th February 2018 where they will journey to St Joseph’s Parish (Mzimpofu). The pilgrimage of the Symbols is meant to help young people in our diocese grow spiritually, socially, establish new relations and most importantly in unity of acceptance among young people by coming together to share their faith, culture and appreciate one another.

We thank the continued support from our Priests, PPC, Patrons and Parishioners in the church. Social networks (Facebook and WhatsApp) gives information of where the Symbols are currently, and what is done by young people.

*Well done St. Stevens*???

Thank you ??
